School of St. Jude

The School of St. Jude is a school outside of Arusha, Tanzania that was founded in 2002 as a not-for-profit organization. It now has an enrollment of of almost 1000 children, with 130 teachers and 200 staff, and a second school with 550 students was opened in January 2008.

Students attend kindergarten through grade 7 at the school. Sponsorship by local and international sponsors covers all school fees and expenses for over 90% of the children at the school.
